Desde su creación en 2007, la comunidad de Alumni de IMDEA Materiales no ha hecho otra cosa más que crecer. Dos de los pilares que definen la cultura de nuestra institución, realizar investigación excelente en ciencia e ingeniería de materiales y transferir nuestro conocimiento y tecnología a industria, son los principios que impulsan la transferencia de nuestros estudiantes de doctorado e investigadores post-doctorales a las mejores instuciones académicas y compañías de todo el mundo. Dr. Saeid Loftian joined IMDEA Materials in 2010. He completed his thesis entitled “High-Temperature Mechanical Behavior of Al/SiC Nanoscale Multilayers” under the supervision of Dr. Jon Molina and Prof. Javier LLorca.
After completing her PhD at IMDEA materials in 2014, Dr. Rocío Muñoz Moreno joined Cambridge University’s Rolls Royce UTC before taking on her current role as part of the HP 3D printing team.
Dr. Nathamar Dudamell joined IMDEA Materials in 2008, where she carried out her dissertation on the «Study of High Strain Rate Behaviour of Magnesium Alloys by Mechanical, Metallography and Texture Analysis».
Arcadio Varona finished his PhD at IMDEA Materials in 2016, under the supervision of Ilchat Sabirov and Teresa Pérez Prado before joining GRUPO ANTOLIN-EUROTRIM as a quality engineer.
